 Our friends at Kansas University invite you to

JapanFest 2015!

Students and teachers, friends and family, everyone is invited to join us for a fun and informative evening to learn more about the traditions of Japan!

 

Schedule of Events

       6:00 - 6:30 p.m.   Activities: Taste Japanese teas and sweets; make your own hachimaki; see the finest calligraphy

       6:30 – 7:10 p.m.  Lecture: Learn more about Shizuoka, home of the last shogun, with Kakehashi delegates

       7:15 – 7:55 p.m.  Performance of Three Trails Taiko: Feel the power of Japanese drumming at this interactive performance

       8:00 – 8:40 p.m.   Lecture: Learn about Japan’s ancient pastimes and the popular culture of today with Kakehashi delegates

       8:45 – 9:00 p.m.   Screening: Enjoy the world of Japanese anime
