Steve Woodsmall, HAJAS board member, first went to Japan as a college student in 1966 for about 10 days, on vacation, and fell in love with the country and the people. He lived in Japan from 1973 until 1982 and again from 1985 until 1988. Most of that time, he was totally immersed in Japanese society. Recently, Steve has been interested in re-familiarizing himself with Japanese customs and will share his research with us.
