General Meeting: Kazuyo Rumbach, Japanese Language Lesson

  • Tuesday, April 22, 2014
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Loose Park Garden Center, 5200 Pennsylvania, KCMO
A lot of JAS members would like to learn Japanese (or get better!). This workshop will be a fun way to learn some basics: Japanese word order, alphabets, basic pronunciation and simple words and everyday greetings. By the end of the session, you will be able to introduce yourself in Japanese and use everyday greetings with good pronunciation.

Ms. Kazuyo Rumbach was born in Osaka, Japan. She graduated from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies and earned an MA in linguistics from Kansas State University. Rumbach-sensei worked at the Consulate General of Japan at Kansas City for about ten years; taught at Kansas City Japanese School for twelve years; and taught JET participants for two years. She has been teaching as an adjunct professor of Japanese at JCCC for almost 26 years!

No cost for the workshop. You don't have to to be a member to attend our general meetings. Friends and family are welcome!
