QUIZ BOWL  Teams comprised of 3 members each will compete by answering questions about Japan. Most questions and answers will be in English but some will require Japanese language ability. Topics include geography, history, cultural arts, pop culture and language. Study guides will be published by February 1.

Special opportunity for High School Level 2 students:

Through the National Japan Bowl and a generous grant from the Mazda Foundation, the winning High School Level 2 team and their teacher will be awarded an all expense paid trip to Washington DC to compete in the National Japan Bowl and attend the annual Sakura Festival, April 14-16.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT! We were just informed that the MAZDA FOUNDATION is extending their grant to include the 2nd place Level 2 team.  All expenses for the 2nd place team will be covered EXCEPT AIRFARE. Full funding for the teacher is provided. We will pursue local funding for the 3 student airfares and keep you posted.
